We are seeking an experienced On-Site Service Engineer to provide hands‑on support for enterprise data center and server environments. This customer‑facing role focuses on maintaining system uptime, troubleshooting hardware issues, and delivering exceptional on‑site technical support. Experience with AI infrastructure is a plus, but strong server and data center experience is the primary requirement.

Responsibilities
  • Provide on‑site support for enterprise server and data center environments.
  • Perform server installations, hardware upgrades, replacements, and repairs.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, firmware, and operating system issues.
  • Replace and configure server components, including CPUs, memory, power supplies, GPUs, and complete server systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and respond to hardware failures to minimize downtime.
  • Follow established support procedures and escalation processes.
  • Document all service activities and technical findings accurately.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal support teams to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Participate in on‑call rotations and provide after‑hours support as needed.
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in data center, field service, or enterprise server support.
  • Hands‑on experience with server hardware installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience performing server builds, swaps, deployments, and component replacements.
  • Familiarity with Linux operating systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, mission‑critical environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical data center tasks.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Dell enterprise servers or similar hardware platforms.
  • Experience with liquid/water‑cooled servers.
  • PC building or hardware assembly experience.
  • Vendor certifications (Dell, CompTIA, or similar).
  • Experience supporting AI or high‑performance computing environments.
Additional Requirements
  • Must reside within commuting distance of the work site.
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including shift work and on‑call support.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. or Canada for the duration of the assignment.
  • Ability to obtain or hold a security clearance if required.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on infrastructure professional who enjoys solving complex hardware issues, working directly with customers, and supporting mission‑critical data center operations.
