Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced AV Support Engineer to provide operational and technical support for enterprise Audio-Visual (AV) systems across conference rooms, executive meeting spaces, collaboration areas, and corporate events. This role is responsible for ensuring reliable AV services by supporting hardware, software, conferencing technologies, and integrated room solutions while managing the AV technology lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting enterprise AV environments, troubleshooting conferencing technologies, maintaining AV assets, and working with internal IT teams and third-party vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for enterprise AV systems, incidents, and service requests.
• Troubleshoot and maintain conference room technologies, control systems, video conferencing equipment, and integrated AV solutions.
• Install, configure, test, and support AV hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
• Support executive meetings, conference rooms, training facilities, and special corporate events.
• Perform software, firmware, and system updates according to maintenance schedules.
• Assist with AV deployments, upgrades, migrations, and hardware refresh initiatives.
• Maintain AV asset inventory, equipment lifecycle records, warranty information, and room technology profiles.
• Track technology refresh schedules and maintain lifecycle documentation.
• Generate reports related to AV equipment upgrades, lifecycle management, and standards compliance.
• Coordinate with IT teams, vendors, and third-party integrators during implementations and issue resolution.
• Document configurations, troubleshooting procedures, operational standards, and support activities.
• Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to increase system reliability and user experience.
• Participate in testing, validation, change management, and production rollouts.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of enterprise Audio-Visual (AV) support experience.
• Experience supporting enterprise conference room technologies and integrated AV systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for AV hardware, conferencing platforms, and control systems.
• Experience maintaining AV asset inventories and lifecycle management documentation.
• Knowledge of AV hardware, software, and enterprise collaboration technologies.
• Experience with Windows and Mac operating systems.
• Basic networking knowledge including LAN, WLAN, and WAN.
• Experience working with third-party AV vendors and system integrators.
• Strong documentation and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer support abilities.
• Ability to support executive meetings and business-critical events in a professional environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with enterprise video conferencing platforms such as Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, or Cisco Webex.
• Knowledge of AV control systems such as Crestron, Extron, or AMX.
• Familiarity with AV-over-IP technologies.
