Job Description Location & Work Requirements
- 100% onsite in Memphis, TN — no remote options.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder
. - Must be flexible to work weekends, holidays, and after-hours based on customer requirements.
- Strong verbal and written customer communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within an onsite team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
The resource must be comfortable performing hands-on server hardware repair
. The role may include OSE/FSE support, so candidates must have practical experience working inside servers, replacing components, and performing hardware break/fix activities.
Candidates should be confident in their hands-on technical abilities and capable of learning and applying new skills as required.
Prior Dell FSE experience is a strong plus.
- Manage and track service tickets and requests.
- Escort and coordinate with dispatched field service engineers.
- Manage parts shipping, receiving, storage, and inventory.
- Maintain accurate environment documentation, including serial numbers, rack elevations, runbooks, and related records.
- Coordinate with colocation teams for power, cooling, and facility maintenance activities.
- Execute customer-directed system and version updates.
- Proactively monitor servers and communicate issues to customers.
- Open, track, and manage service requests.
- Triage and coordinate break/fix activities with Dell support.
- Perform troubleshooting and log collection and implement vendor-recommended resolutions.
- Support firmware upgrades and hardware break/fix activities.
- Perform server parts replacement and hardware deployments.
- Perform OS installations, GPU configuration, and related testing.
- Conduct system testing and validation to ensure operational readiness.
- Handle urgent or unexpected issues as they arise and serve as a flexible escalation and coordination point.
- Basic networking experience.
- Experience reading and analyzing Linux logs
. - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 65 lbs.
- Ability to safely work on a ladder.
- RoCE networking experience
. - NVIDIA GPU/NIC experience
. - Prior Dell FSE experience

The ideal candidate is a hands-on data center professional with strong server hardware repair experience, Linux and networking fundamentals, excellent customer-facing skills, and the flexibility to support onsite operations, including weekends, holidays, and after-hours when required.
