Description
Provides legal counsel and advice to the corporation and its subsidiaries. Ensures their effective operation in accordance with federal, state, local and/or international laws.
Essential Functions- Provides legal counsel to the corporation and its subsidiaries.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
- Participates in litigation.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA Accredited law school and admission to the bar or equivalent in jurisdiction outside the U.S., and eligible for Florida Authorized House Counsel.
Minimum ExperienceFour (4) years of experience and demonstrated competency in relevant area of law specialization.
Knowledge, skills, and abilitiesSuperior academic record. Excellent research and writing skills. Strong negotiation, human relations, and communication skills.
Preferred QualificationsCommercial Transactional Experience | Transportation industry experience | Aviation industry experience
