The Raw Material Planner is responsible to ensure timely supply of materials to the plant for uninterrupted production processing and servicing customers at a best in class level under single plant and/or low complexity.
** Responsibilities/

Description:

*** Plan both short- and long-term to align supply and demand to support inventory needs
* Facilitate collaboration meetings with stakeholders and vendors to review purchase forecasts, proposed orders, and other operational issues
* Monitor movement of materials through purchasing, storage, production, and retail distribution
* Set preferred stock levels and prevent excess inventory
* Solve problems of raw material shortages;
* Liaise with the local material coordinators/ site supply chain managers to ensure a smooth and aligned day-to-day planning process;
* Optimization and continuous improvement of material availability; global inventory days; inventory write-off; and obsolete/slow moving inventory.
* Design and create new tools to help improve the planning functions of supply chain
* Manage relationships with key suppliers to maintain quality of goods, timely delivery, and compliance to terms of contracts
** Requirements:
*** Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related fields.
* 3-5 years experience in operational planning or a similar role
* Knowledge of MS Office tools (specially Excel)
* Excellent business English communication skills
* Analytical and quantitative skills
* Ability to handle high-pressure situations
* Continuous improvement attitude
** Training /

Certifications:

*** SAP, APO, MRP training on functional areas of expertise
* APICS Module I (Basics of Supply Chain Management) training
