Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Performs a combination of manual and clerical Inbound and receiving duties; may work out of a central warehouse.
- Uses computer system for tracking, logging, verifying and reporting.
- Follows Receiving practices, procedures, schedules and requirements.
- Receives incoming materials or prepares materials for stock placement.
- (un) packs or (un) wraps items such as finished products, raw stock, assemblies, parts, building materials, office supplies, equipment, etc.
- Verifies incoming shipments, and conformance of materials to stated identifications; logs receipt of items on system, processes freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents; reports materials shipped and bills of lading; posts weight and shipping charges and routes merchandise to destinations.
Required Knowledge and
Experience:
Requires minimum of 8 years of experience
Nice to Have:
- Direct experience supporting Medtronic distribution center operations, including waving orders, assigning isles, running orders, and batch swaps
- Prior experience in a distribution center or in a warehouse operation
- Advanced English language fluency
- Strong verbal and written communication to convey goals clearly
- Active listening and the ability to give constructive feedback
- Some experience in delegating tasks to team members
- Must have the ability to adjust to changing priorities
For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
