The Patient Transportation Driver provides transportation of patients to and from outpatient treatment daily in a safe and professional manner. Also, this position is available to provide transport for patients to and from medical and needed appointments. Effective communication with the dispatcher and managing pre‑ and post‑trip inspections of vehicles. Must understand and be able to operate GPS devices and cell phones.
Perform all duties as assigned by the Transport Coordinator.
Position Requirements
- Drivers must be at least eighteen (21) years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- TN Driver License with F Endorsement or Commercial Driver License
- Physical Examination (at least as extensive as the Department of Transportation's Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration for Commercial Drivers)
