One of our main clients, a leading industrial company, is looking for a S&OP Manager to lead its North American operation, based in the Memphis, Tennessee (USA).
This position will play a strategic role in integrating Sales, Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Finance, ensuring alignment between demand, production, inventory, capacity, and customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the planning team, strengthening collaboration across international operations, and driving continuous improvements throughout the supply chain.
Key responsibilities:- Lead the Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process for the North American business, ensuring alignment between demand, production, procurement, inventory, and customer service.
- Develop and enhance the SIOP process, adapting planning practices to support both OEM and Aftermarket/Distribution businesses while improving service levels and reducing lead times.
- Design demand planning, supply planning, and inventory management strategies for a global supply chain supported by international manufacturing and sourcing operations.
- Manage material planning, production capacity, and inventory levels to balance product availability, working capital, and operational efficiency.
- Drive integrated planning across international operations, ensuring alignment between manufacturing, supply chain, and market requirements.
- Lead monthly SIOP meetings, facilitating cross-functional decision-making among Sales, Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Finance.
- Establish inventory policies, replenishment parameters, and risk mitigation strategies to support a resilient global supply chain.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Demand Planning and Inventory Management team, fostering a high-performance and collaborative planning culture.
- Monitor key supply chain KPIs, driving initiatives to improve forecast accuracy, product availability, inventory turnover, and customer service performance.
- Partner closely with Commercial teams, proactively communicating supply chain risks, constraints, and opportunities.
- Support the continuous improvement of planning processes and ensure the effective use of ERP and Demand Planning systems.
A professional with strong experience in Supply Chain, Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (S&OP), Integrated Business Planning (IBP), Demand Planning, or Supply Planning within industrial or manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate has proven track record in the area as well as international supply chain strategy and global sourcing.

Qualifications:- Experience supporting both OEM and Aftermarket/Distribution business models.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Demand Planning tools.
- Experience managing global sourcing, imports, and international supply chain operations.
