Logistics Clerk

Pathmark is a fast-growing freight brokerage connecting shippers and carriers to keep freight moving. We're looking for a driven, detail-oriented individual to join our team as we scale.

We need someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and isn't afraid to wear multiple hats. You'll be a core part of our daily operations, working directly with carriers and customers to keep freight moving smoothly. This role is entry-level, but potential to grow with our company.

• ** Appointment Setting:
  ** Coordinate and schedule pickup and delivery appointments with shippers, receivers, and carriers
• ** Load Building:
  ** Build and organize loads in our TMS, ensuring accuracy on rates, lanes, and load details
• ** Track & Trace:
  ** Proactively monitor shipments in transit, update statuses, and flag potential delays before they become problems
• ** Customer Communication:
  ** Respond promptly and professionally to customer emails, providing shipment updates, resolving issues, and maintaining strong relationships
• ** Carrier Communication:
  ** Check in with drivers/carriers throughout transit to confirm ETAs and gather POD/paperwork
• ** Problem Solving:
  ** Handle day-of issues (delays, detention, appointment changes) calmly and quickly
