Housekeeper, Maintenance​/Cleaning

Immaculate Facility Services (IFS) is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness and order at a hotel/residential setting. You will help create a comfortable, welcoming environment by ensuring all spaces are clean, organized, and well-maintained.

• Clean assigned rooms and areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, common areas, kitchens, etc.
• Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish surfaces
• Change linens, make beds, fold and arrange towels
• Restock supplies, such as toiletries, paper goods, cleaning products
• Empty trash receptacles, dispose of waste properly
• Clean windows, mirrors, fixtures, and glass surfaces
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms: sinks, toilets, showers, tubs
• Report any damage, maintenance issues, or safety hazards to supervisor
• Handle reasonable requests from residents/guests professionally
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation standards, including proper use of cleaning chemicals
• Maintain and care for cleaning tools and equipment
• Assist with periodic deep-cleaning tasks (e.g. carpet shampooing, floor stripping)
• Collaborate with management and other staff to ensure efficient operations

• Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel/residential setting
• Must know how to use common housecleaning implements, such as mops, floor waxes and scouring pads, to keep areas clean and well serviced.
• Ability to endure long hours of continuous work when called upon to do so.
• Physical efforts required by the job includes walking, standing, bending, stooping, pulling, pushing, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Must know how to care for equipment, how to measure cleaning solutions, and be alert to hazards.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Detailed and team oriented.
• Must be able to work independently and accomplish goals with little direct supervision.
