Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Building Maintenance
Job Summary:
The Make Ready Technician is responsible for preparing units and facilities for new occupancy by performing a variety of semiskilled duties in plumbing, carpentry, electrical, painting, and plastering. This role also includes maintaining, servicing, and performing minor repairs on buildings and equipment while ensuring compliance with established safety guidelines and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform make-ready tasks including plumbing, carpentry, electrical, painting, and plastering.
- Maintain, service, and complete minor repairs on buildings, fixtures, and equipment.
- Follow all safety standards and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist maintenance engineers and other team members as needed.
- Work under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of make-ready or related maintenance experience required.
- Moderate understanding of general aspects of maintenance and repair work.
- Ability to follow directions and complete tasks with attention to detail.
$23.00 per hour
