Multi Site Environmental Manager, Environmental Assurance and Protection (EAP)

Mexico's Environmental Assurance and Protection (EAP) team is seeking a Multi-Site Environmental Manager (MSEM) to support our fulfillment centers and AMZL operations across the Mexico Metro region. The role will develop standards and policies to support regulatory compliance and partner with operations leadership teams to execute these standards and policies, ensuring compliance with all applicable county/local, state/provincial, and federal laws and regulations.

• Manage and execute multi‑site responsibilities to comply with stormwater, waste, wastewater, and other environmental laws, regulations, and permits, including required federal, state, and local reporting.
• Develop Amazon geo‑specific operational environmental procedures in partnership with engineering, construction, and operations.
• Lead regulatory agency interactions, permitting evaluation and processing, and new process and technology introductions.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for environmental regulatory agencies and represent Amazon to government agencies.
• Ensure contractors, consultants, and employees comply with regulatory requirements and Amazon standards.
• Monitor environmental metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
• Conduct thorough inspections and audits for continuous improvement.
• Prioritize and manage multiple technically complex assignments concurrently.
• Build and manage collaborative relationships with stakeholders to identify and manage risks early.
• Compile and submit time‑critical reports to governmental agencies.
• Investigate environmental incidents, generate regulatory reports, and develop corrective actions.
• Train and educate site leadership and associates on policy responsibilities.

The MSEM will complete environmental performance analysis, establish and monitor metrics, and guide operations leadership teams in implementing Amazon environmental standards. The MSEM will work with internal and external partners, including government entities, contractors, consultants, design, construction, operations, and other key stakeholders.
