• Be responsible and accountable for a large strategic business unit of Lewis
• C ollaborate with other Lewis departments to streamline processes and improve overall performance
• Develop your direct and indirect subordinates
• Smartly and strategically grow your business year-over-year.
• C onsult with the Human Resources department on employing, dismissing, disciplining, developing and promoting personnel.
• Develop , foster , and improve customer relationships , driving the Lewis customer experience
• Develop and foster relationships that ensure high employee morale.
• Improve and maintain the division al safety performance. Drive the safety culture of the division through leadership engagement, action, and accountability.
• Participate in trade associations and organizations involved in vegetation management Market appropriate vegetation management services to utilities in conjunction with the regional vice president.
• Maintain open lines of communication and a good working relationship with all members of the Operational Management Group.
• Promote the reputation of Lewis Services as a Brand Ambassador to all internal and external personnel .
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to and indoor and has some exposure to an outdoor environment. The noise level in the work environment is most often moderate but sometimes loud.

• Minimum five years ’ experience in utility vegetation management, at least two of which include positions as a Supervisor or Area Manager , or have related experience.
• Ha ve a degree in a business related field, Forestry , or , Arboriculture. Industry experience will be considered in lieu of a degree on a case-by-case basis.
• ISA Certified Arborist preferred not required .
• Demonstrate s strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to read , comprehend , and implement appropriate plans and actions to ensure compliance.
