General Manager - Holiday Inn Express Memphis Southwind

Introduction:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced General Manager to join our team and oversee the operations of our hotel. The General Manager will be responsible for managing the hotel budget and financial performance, improving guest service scores, overseeing the implementation and execution of all brand requirements, developing and implementing strategies for growth and success, and leading and motivating a team of employees.

The successful candidate will have strong leadership and problem-solving skills and be able to adapt to changing business needs.

• Manage the budget and financial performance of the hotel, including setting goals and reporting monthly results

• Develop and implement strategies for growth and success, including identifying new opportunities and improving existing processes

• Lead and motivate a team of employees, including setting performance expectations, providing training and development, and managing employee relations

• Oversee the operations of the business, including ensuring that policies and procedures are followed and that all necessary resources are available

• Monitor market trends and adapt to changing business needs to grow market share

• Other duties as assigned by VP of Operations

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager at an IHG brand hotel

• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
