The Operations Manager is responsible for leveraging leadership skills to coordinate and direct the overall delivery of quality service to maximize branch productivity. The role works closely with the Branch Manager to ensure safety, world‑class customer service, and compliance with standard processes to drive effective, efficient operations. The Manager collaborates with corporate counterparts and peer Managers across a growing national network and interacts effectively with all levels of employees.

• Support the Branch Manager in implementing actions to achieve financial objectives.
• Support operational and revenue goals, closely monitor reports, and maintain firm control of the branch’s financial performance.
• Assist the Branch Manager in ensuring compliance with all company policies.
• Oversee sales efforts and business initiatives.
• Manage performance of direct staff, including Inside Sales Reps, Drivers, and other employees as applicable.
• Motivate, coach, and train branch employees.
• Promote a culture of safety and discipline through leadership, exemplary personal compliance, accountability, and communication.
• Manage human resource administration (payroll, scheduling, paperwork, etc.).
• Assist customers in determining their rental needs by applying product knowledge.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, vendors, and suppliers.
• Inform the Branch Manager of areas of concern or opportunity such as major projects, inventory shortages, competitor activity, or logistical challenges.
• Maintain a safe work environment: perform job functions safely, participate in safety meetings, communicate concerns or violations, and use proper personal protective equipment.
• Demonstrate behaviors aligned with company core values at all times.
• Assist in driving a continuous improvement strategy to achieve incremental gains in quality and efficiency.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and CRM applications.
• Excellent attention to detail and proven ability to organize people and processes for increased production and efficiency.

• Strong time‑management and multitasking skills; prioritizes actions, sets direction, and allocates resources in a fast‑paced, high‑volume operation.
• Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills; presents information clearly and accurately and demonstrates command of details and subject matter expertise in all interactions.

• High School diploma;
  Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3 years of sales and operational experience in construction or industrial services preferred.
• Basic knowledge of the construction rental equipment industry or related field preferred.

• Valid driver’s license required with a clean driving record.
