Biomanufacturing Technician

The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Biomanufacturing Technician for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Memphis, TN. Details for the position are as follows:

• Pay: $22.12/hr.
• Shift:
  • Day Shift: 6:00am – 6:30pm rotating shift
  • Night Shift: 10:30am – 11:00pm rotating shift
• 5-month assignment with possibility for extension or conversion based on performance and budget.

Responsibilities:

• Obtain and maintain qualifications necessary for the performance of aseptic activities.
• Responsible for the production, formulation, and banking of cellular products (including GMP, GDP, and aseptic processing).
• Write, under supervision, GMP required documents including standard operating procedures, product specifications, equipment specifications and batch production records.
• Provide support in validation efforts related to the manufacturing process.
• Participate in all aspects of manufacturing activities including raw material support, cell culture, and continuous improvement.
• Consistently practice appropriate clean room behaviors and upkeep of clean room areas.
• Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma with 1+ years of cGMP/manufacturing experience or recent bachelor’s graduate in a life science with relevant experience.
• Experience with aseptic techniques/sterile techniques is required.
• Cell culture experience is highly preferred.
• Experience with handling medical equipment or any biological related samples is preferred.
