Performs work as part of a team in an industrial laundry facility. Responsible for the safe, expeditious, and accurate handling of merchandise into and/or out of the laundry facility.

• Stage and feed merchandise (towels, napkins, table cloths, aprons, etc.) onto ironers to reduce wrinkling and tangling.
• Receive and fold merchandise from ironers.
• Identify and segregate merchandise that does not meet specified quality standards (rips, tears, holes, stains).
• Accurately verify merchandise quantity and bundle by type.
• Place bundles in correct storage carts; maneuver full and empty carts.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment and observe best practices in all production activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Ability to understand all required training, written, and verbal instructions.
• Basic math skills.
• Good verbal and/or written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to meet attendance schedule; work based on a shift schedule, may include weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Experience working in a warehouse or industrial setting, with exposure to outdoor weather, extreme heat/cold, dust, and noise.

• Repetitive motions over entire shift, requiring bending, reaching, pulling, twisting, and lifting.
• Use hands for grasping and manipulations.
• Stand and walk for long periods.
• Push carts weighing approximately 300 lbs.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
