Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Greater Memphis, Tennessee
Pay Range: $70,000 - $90,000
Shifts: Night - 4pm - 4am

The OpportunityAs Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead a team of skilled technicians and oversee all preventive, predictive, corrective, and capital installation maintenance activities. This is a critical leadership role responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, food safety compliance, cost control, and operational efficiency in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
You will play a key role in aligning maintenance strategy with plant performance goals — including safety, OEE, yield, and uptime.
Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development- Lead, coach, and develop maintenance technicians
- Align team performance with operational KPIs
- Support workforce planning, scheduling, and performance management
- Plan and oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs
- Establish maintenance policies, procedures, and asset management standards
- Lead troubleshooting efforts and root cause analysis
- Oversee new equipment installations and continuous improvement projects
- Track and improve KPIs such as OEE, uptime, yield, cost control, and throughput
- Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and contractor resources
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles
- Ensure adherence to HACCP, GMPs, FDA/USDA regulations, and internal safety standards
- Maintain full compliance in a highly regulated food production environment
- 5–10+ years of maintenance experience in food manufacturing
- 4+ years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Strong technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, and controls systems
- Experience supporting processing, packaging, and warehouse equipment
- Knowledge of FDA/USDA regulations (frozen or temperature-controlled foods highly valued)
- Experience managing maintenance budgets and capital projects
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement practices
- Experience with CMMS systems (SAP, Maximo, or similar)
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving ability
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial)
- Fast-paced food manufacturing facility
