Conventional Machinist

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Conventional Machinist located in the Memphis Metropolitan Area. The Conventional Machinist will be responsible for setting up and operating manual machines to produce precision parts and components, interpreting technical drawings and measurements, and performing routine maintenance on equipment. The role also involves ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, troubleshooting machining issues, and collaborating with team members to meet production goals efficiently.

• Proficiency in operating and working with manual machining equipment, including lathes, mills, and grinders
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• Experienced in maintaining precision measurements and ensuring quality control of finished components
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues
• Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
• Prior experience in a machining or manufacturing environment is preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in machining is a plus
