We are looking for a full‑time Process Technician to strengthen our team in Memphis, TN. The Process Technician will work within the manufacturing engineering team on tasks such as technical support in equipment/process, troubleshooting, process improvement projects, machine layouts, validation protocols, on‑the‑job training for operators, cutting tool tests, process cycle‑time studies, and special tasks or projects. They will provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
Key Responsibilities- Trouble shoots CNC machines, processes, and ancillary equipment. Performs and improves machine setup.
- Assists on the job training of production staff.
- Assists in process improvements to improve productivity.
- Executes, coordinates, and verifies data on validation protocols.
- Designs, prepares, repairs and improves fixtures.
- Assists in cycle time studies and special tasks or assignments.
- Runs tests with new equipment and assists in process and machine capability studies.
- Creates and maintains machine programs.
- Maintains a clean, organized, and safe workspace, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of common manufacturing equipment and ancillary equipment to manufacturing (lathes, air compressors, automated equipment).
- Knowledge in Lean, blueprint reading, measurement instruments and gauges.
- General knowledge in CAD software is preferred.
- Knowledge in GMP and ISO is a plus.
- Customer focus oriented.
- Strong interpersonal skills are a must with a willingness to be a team player.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Associate degree in a technical field such as Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Mechanic or 3 to 5 years of related experience.
