What you'll be doing- Lead all plant and underground mining operations, ensuring safe, efficient and cost‑effective performance across the site.
- Deliver results across safety, production, maintenance, quality, environmental compliance and financial performance.
- Develop and execute site strategies that maximise asset utilisation, optimise reserves and support long‑term operational objectives.
- Manage site budgets and drive continuous improvement initiatives across reliability, productivity and cost control.
- Build, mentor and develop operational teams while fostering a culture of accountability, engagement and high performance.
- Proven leadership experience within mining, quarrying, industrial minerals, cement, heavy manufacturing or a comparable industrial environment.
- Strong track record of improving operational performance while managing budgets, cost control initiatives and P&L responsibility.
- Experience leading both salaried and hourly work forces.
- Deep understanding of safety, environmental and quality standards within industrial operations.
- Ability to influence stakeholders, develop people and drive organisational performance.
You're a hands‑on leader who is comfortable taking responsibility for all aspects of site performance. You know how to build strong teams, improve reliability, manage costs and deliver operational results.
