* Position Overview:

A Woodworker performs a wide variety of fabrication tasks centered around building cabinetry.

* Essential Functions:

* Performs basic wood working or rough carpentry work on small or large boats.
* Frequently involves use of staples and staple guns in assembly of rough wood structures to be covered with other materials (fiberglass, upholstery).
* Includes mill assembly and lamination woodworking positions.
* Must be willing to learn all aspects of woodshop including running CNC routers, cabinet building, and assembly builds.
** Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.

* Required Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or GED equivalent
* Experience in basic or rough carpentry
* Ability to read and understand production schedule and blueprints
* Ability to work in a hot and dusty environment, using protective clothing and respirator if needed
* Requires ability to use a wide variety of hand tools, powered and manual
* Knowledge of hazardous chemical handling and disposal
* Working knowledge of procedures , instructions, and documents as it relates to the quality system

Working Conditions:

* Must always possess the desire and ambition to work safely and report all hazards to their supervisor immediately.
* Must understand basic terminology such as OSHA, DEP, and other regulatory agencies.
* Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment where designated, including but not limited to, safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, etc.
* Must be able to physically handle the requirements of the job, including lifting, bending, climbing stairs, standing, etc., with or without reasonable accommodation.

The pay range for this position is ***$20.50 - $23.18, hourly***.  The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.  In addition to base pay, this position may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus or short-term incentive program. This position is also eligible for an award target as part of Brunswick’s long-term incentive program.
