Mechanical Assembler

Kelly® is looking for Mechanical or Electrical Assembler to work at a premier manufacturer of electrical equipment in Memphis, TN.

$22.00 - $25.00 per hour, based on shift and experience.

3pm – 3am, Monday to Friday with OT on Saturday. Flexibility to work 8-12 hour shifts as needed.

• Read, use, and understand electrical/mechanical schematic drawings
• Fit, file, drill, and assemble MPI boxes, panels, or perform a wide variety of diversified and difficult electrical assemblies
• Perform various electrical assembly duties on large utility servers by following instructions and utilizing schematics
• Assemble electrical components, terminals, and push buttons in a predetermined order
• Cut, strip, crimp, and mount wires to connect electrical units
• Read enclosure/panel fabrication drawings with bill‑of‑materials
• Wire electrical panels, instrumentation, and devices and conduct point‑to‑point testing

• Ideally have 1+ years of experience in mechanical assemblies or electrical wiring
• Preferred background for a Mechanical Assembler:
  Millwright, Installer, Conveyor Installer, Mechanical Assembler, Control Panel Builder, Airframe Mechanics, Install Technician
• Ability to interpret blueprints, graphs, schematics, and diagrams
• Basic mathematical skills and the ability to interpret graphs and diagrams
• Proficient in operating a personal computer and using Windows‑based operating systems and related software
• Can read and understand visual aids, as well as simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
