Inspector - 2nd Shift

The Inspector 1 shall be responsible for performing basic visual/dimensional/functional inspections of products manufactured/assembled in‑house, determining whether or not the product meets specifications, and documenting these decisions. The Roving Inspector 1 shall also be responsible for executing inspections on operators performing a variety of processes on the operations floor.

• Inspect assembled product, semi‑finished product, and finished product per inspection procedures/drawings and to‑print specifications.
• Utilize attribute and variable measuring equipment/gauges as well as mating parts to determine as‑found/as‑left conditions of product.
• Support the qualification/validation processes for company product.
• Review corresponding product documentation to verify acceptability per specification and QSR requirements.
• Support department and organizational objectives.
• Represent and promote quality standards.
• Inspect operators performing a variety of processes on the operations floor.
• Perform other quality functions as required.
• Train other inspectors on required tasks.
• Operate automated inspection equipment such as vision systems and digital comparators.
• Work independently or within a team setting.
• Maintain neat and accurate documentation records.
• Communicate inspection results clearly to stakeholders.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0+ years of work experience in a related field and/or inspecting product per inspection procedures/drawings and to‑print specifications utilizing attribute and variable measuring equipment/gauges.
• Knowledge of good manufacturing practices.
• Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing and blueprint interpretation.
• Capability to detect nonconformities while performing repetitive inspections.
• Ability to make product judgments against applicable specifications.
• Experience in a manufacturing and/or clean‑room environment.
• Good communication skills to relay inspection results in a clear manner.
