Position: Inspector 1 - 3rd Shift

Inspector 1 – 3rd Shift, Memphis Holmes Road, TN

Life Unlimited. The Inspector 1 inspects products manufactured or assembled in‑house, determines compliance with specifications, and documents decisions. The role also includes roving inspections of operators and performing quality functions as assigned.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect assembled, semi‑finished and finished product according to inspection procedures, drawings and printed specifications.
  • Use attribute and variable measuring equipment, gauges and mating parts to assess as‑found and as‑left conditions.
  • Operate automated inspection equipment, such as vision systems and digital comparators.
  • Support qualification and validation processes for company products.
  • Review product documentation to verify specification and QSR compliance.
  • Promote and uphold quality standards across the operations floor.
  • Inspect operators performing a variety of processes and provide feedback.
  • Train subordinate inspectors on inspection tasks.
  • Maintain clear, accurate documentation and records.
  • Communicate inspection results effectively to stakeholders.
  • Work independently and collaboratively within a manufacturing or clean‑room environment.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 0+ years experience in inspection of products or related field.
  • Proficiency with attribute and variable measurement equipment.
  • Experience detecting nonconformities in repetitive inspections.
  • Ability to evaluate products against applicable specifications.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of good manufacturing practices, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing and blueprint interpretation.
  • Capacity to work 3rd‑shift schedule.
