Summary

As the Assembler, you will be a pivotal member of our team, reporting to the Production Supervisor. This role is responsible for putting together products and parts in a manufacturing setting, you will follow assembly instructions, operate tools and perform quality checks to ensure products meet standards. Duties

and Responsibilities
  • Assemble products according to blueprints, diagrams, or verbal instructions provided.
  • Utilize hand and power tools to fasten, fit, and connect components.
  • Inspect parts and components for accuracy and quality throughout the assembly process.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Monitor the assembly line for potential issues and report them to supervisors.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Operate and perform routine maintenance on assembly line equipment.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet production goals.
  • Assist in other areas of production as needed.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent experience.
  • One to two years’ related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or assembly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions and technical documents, such as blueprints.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform repetitive tasks.
Essential Physical Demands
  • Regularly required to talk and hear.
  • Required to stand, walk, climb, sit, balance, stoop, kneel and/or crouch.
  • Frequently required to use fingers, hands, and arms to handle and reach.
  • Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Required to wear personal protective equipment in designated areas.
Work Environment
  • Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts.
  • Exposure to weather conditions; precipitation, extreme cold and extreme heat.
  • Regularly required to wear hearing protection in a loud environment.
  • Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts.
