Job Summary

The Packager is responsible for packaging finished products according to customer specifications and optimizing the productivity of the machine processing line. This role involves selecting and maintaining packaging materials, operating packaging equipment, and ensuring accurate documentation and safety standards.

• Package finished products for storage and shipment, adhering to customer specifications.
• Select and maintain an adequate supply of packaging materials for processing and warehouse activities.
• Keep a working set of tools required for packaging tasks.
• Read and follow both standard and special packaging specifications.
• Safely and properly operate manual, semi-automatic, and automatic packaging equipment.
• Complete and inspect paperwork, tagging, and final packaging of finished products.
• Move finished products to storage or shipping areas as needed.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards in the work area according to company policies.
• Work collaboratively with processing crew members and company management.

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to operate overhead cranes and forklifts.
• Ability to read and understand work orders and written instructions.
• Utilize measuring devices such as rulers, tapes, and calipers.
• Use computer systems to print tags and manage documentation.
• Pass a physical examination for vision, hearing, and mobility.
• Demonstrated reliable work history.
• Must be detail-oriented with a strong focus on precision and quality in all inspection tasks.
