Position: Machinist 2 - 2nd Shift (Memphis, TN)

This is an opportunity to apply your expertise in Swiss type CNC machining to produce components that directly impact patient outcomes. Location: Memphis, TN

Shift: Monday-Friday 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm

What will you be doing?
  • Setting up, operating and troubleshooting CNC Mills or Lathes.
  • Machining small complex components requiring tight tolerances and exceptional surface finishes
  • Performing tool changes, offsets, wear compensation and in process adjustments to maintain quality
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, GD and T, work instructions and control plans
  • Carrying out in process and final inspections using micrometers, optical comparators, vision systems and other precision tools
  • Completing manufacturing and quality documentation to support compliance and traceability
  • Working closely with Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing teams to resolve issues and support continuous improvement
  • Maintaining safety, cleanliness and contamination control standards throughout the workspace
What will you need to be successful?
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of machinist program or degree program preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience operating CNC equipment in a production/manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to hold tight tolerances on small high precision part
  • Strong working knowledge of GD and T and blueprint interpretation
  • Experience performing inspections and documenting results
  • A detail-oriented approach and a quality first mindset
