Production Operator 3rd Shift

• Operate all manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently
• Demonstrate ability to meet production standards on specific assignments within required time
• Maintain good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned space
• Responsible for safety and quality throughout the production process, including following all safety procedures and performing manual and visual quality inspection of products as assigned
• Responsible for cleaning equipment and area before, during, and after shift
• May be responsible for sorting product as needed to ensure quality shipments
• Assist in changeovers when needed
• Is responsible for cross‑training across multiple operations such as presses, palletizers, seamers and/or slitters
• Responsible for working directly with team members to meet all safety, quality and productivity goals
• Performs other duties as required by Supervisor or Manager

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a fast‑paced, manufacturing environment
• Willingness and ability to effectively communicate with peers, supervisors and other levels of the organization to create a positive, team‑oriented environment
• Ability to read and write in English
• Basic math skills such as addition, subtraction and taking measurements
• Must be willing to work evening or night shift and weekends as needed based on business need
