Aerotek is hiring a Laser Operator.

1st shift 7am - 3pm

$20-$23 depending on experience

Responsibilities

• Operate laser machinery with precision and efficiency.
• Inspect parts using calipers, gauges, and micrometers.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics accurately.
• Maintain tolerance levels as low as .0 and sometimes in the negatives.
• Change out broken tooling and offsets as necessary.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machines.
• Responsibly operate and manage three machines simultaneously.

Essential Skills

• 2-3 years of experience operating a machine in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in machining and laser operation.
• Competency in quality inspection and blueprint reading.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in the medical device industry is a bonus.
• Familiarity with CNC mills, CNC operators, and CNC equipment is advantageous.
• Understanding of micrometers, calipers, and microscopes.

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled, extremely clean medical device facility. Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) is essential. The shift is scheduled from 7am to 3pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
