Packaging Technician - Nights

Position Overview

Richardson Oilseed Products US, a division of Richardson International, operates a state‑of‑the‑art oil packaging facility in Memphis, TN, refining and packaging canola and vegetable cooking oils under the Wesson brand.

The position of Packaging Technician offers an hourly wage of $22.45, with a competitive salary and benefits package.

• Follow all safety requirements, company policies, and workplace procedures.
• Work safely by using PPE, following procedures, applying hazard controls, and reporting incidents or unsafe conditions.
• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot packaging equipment and control systems.
• Set up equipment, maintain material supply, and keep processes within required parameters.
• Perform quality checks, visual inspections, and document results.
• Report equipment issues and assist with preventative maintenance and housekeeping.
• Complete logs and paperwork accurately and perform other assigned duties.

• High school diploma or GED required, with the ability to read, write, communicate effectively, and follow instructions.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including overtime as needed.
• Experience in a high‑speed industrial environment, industrial technology, LEDS systems, or forklift operation is an asset.
• Must be able to work in warm to hot conditions, stand and walk for long periods, and lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all company policies and procedures.
