Maintenance Supervisor - Food Manufacturing
Global food manufacturer is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join its team at its state-of-the-art complex in Memphis, TN. This position will lead a team of maintenance technicians across a 24/7 operation, with full accountability for preventive, predictive, corrective, and new equipment installation activities. The right candidate will be a hands-on leader with a strong technical background and a track record of driving continuous improvement in a demanding food manufacturing environment.
Key requirements to be considered for this opportunity:
- 5–10 years of maintenance experience in the food industry, with a minimum of 4 years in a supervisory role
- B.S. in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering preferred
- Strong technical background in mechanical, electrical, and control systems, with specific experience in food processing and packaging equipment
- Solid knowledge of FDA/USDA regulations, GMPs, and HACCP standards
- Experience managing maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and contractor resources
- Familiarity with CMMS platforms (SAP, Maximo, or similar) and Lean Manufacturing principles
- Proven ability to troubleshoot equipment and processes, identify root causes, and implement lasting corrective actions
- Experience tracking and improving KPIs such as OEE, equipment availability, yields, and production volume
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, multi-shift environment
- Union leadership experience preferred
- Stable work history

Our client will offer a base salary of $90k-105k depending on experience, bonus opportunity, excellent benefits beginning on day one of employment, generous PTO plan, full relocation package, and a matching 401(k).
