- Assist with engineering department needs and provide professional assistance
- Focus on drafting projects and assist in solidifying standards for the first few months
- Directly set up and manage the fabrication aspect of the engineering department workflow
- Provide shop drawings, material take-offs; cut sheets for fabrication
- Provide reviews of work by drafters in the department
- Experience with Rhino a PLUS
- Glazing Contractor experience a PLUS
- Experience in light-gage sheet metal fabrication using steel, stainless steel, brass, aluminum materials, etc
- Familiarity and experience with metal finishing techniques and metal finishing equipment
- Mathematical skills as applied to metal fabrication
- Competent in interpreting metal fabrication production orders, patterns, and method layouts
