Position Summary

The Maintenance Mechanic/Welder supports safe, reliable, and efficient operation of a chemical batch manufacturing plant by performing mechanical maintenance, welding/fabrication, and equipment troubleshooting. Ensures compliance with safety, quality, and environmental requirements while minimizing downtime and maintaining production continuity.

Outcome:
Safe & Compliant Welding Execution

Zero safety incidents; 100% compliance with permit-to-work and regulatory requirements. Actions:

• Performs welding activities in accordance with ASME, AWS, and site-specific standards.
• Follows all safety protocols including hot work permits, PPE, and confined space entry.
• Welds carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy piping using SMAW, GTAW, and GMAW processes.
• Conducts weld repairs and ensures compliance with plant welding standards.
