The Production Specialist - CAR department will be based in Memphis, TN reporting to Operations Manager is responsible for supporting daily operations within the Center Analysis & Repair (CAR) organization by monitoring operational performance, driving KPI management, supporting repair and analysis effectiveness initiatives, coordinating training activities, and ensuring operational targets are achieved in collaboration with Supervisors and Operations Management.
Schedule - Mon-Fri - 4:00am-1:00pm
Principal Accountabilities:
- Monitor and maintain CAR operational KPIs including repair effectiveness, analysis effectiveness, productivity, quality, cycle time, and training compliance.
- Develop and distribute operational performance reports.
- Partner with Supervisors to identify performance gaps and corrective actions.
- Track technician performance and skill progression.
- Coordinate training requirements with Training, Engineering, Quality and Operations teams.
- Support root cause investigations and continuous improvement activities.
- Maintain training matrices and certification compliance.
- Support staffing, capacity planning and operational readiness reviews.
- Participate in customer and internal audits
Education / Experience:
- High School Diploma required.
- Associate Degree in Electronics, Engineering Technology, Business Administration or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of manufacturing, repair, test, analysis or operations support experience preferred.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to create KPI dashboards and performance reports.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Basic electronics troubleshooting, repair process and failure analysis knowledge preferred.
- Lean Manufacturing and Root Cause Analysis knowledge preferred.
Scope / Impact:
Supports operational performance across the CAR organization and influences repair efficiency, quality performance, training effectiveness and workforce readiness.
Supervision / Leadership:
No direct reports. Provides operational support and recommendations to Supervisors and Operations Leadership
