Position Summary
The Electronic Technician I (Electrical Assembler) is responsible for assembling, wiring, routing, connecting, and testing electrical components and subassemblies used in large-scale cooling systems. Working from engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, work instructions, and visual aids, the Electronic Technician ensures products are built safely, accurately, and according to quality standards and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble electrical and electromechanical components, harnesses, control panels, and subassemblies.
Route, terminate, connect, and secure wiring, cables, sensors, switches, motors, and other electrical components.
Read and interpret wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, assembly drawings, and work instructions.
Utilize bills of materials (BOMs), visual aids, testing procedures, and engineering documentation.
Safely operate hand tools, power tools, torque tools, barcode scanners, and testing equipment.
Inspect assemblies for quality, accuracy, and compliance with workmanship standards.
Identify and communicate defects, discrepancies, and process concerns to leadership.
Maintain accurate production, quality, and material traceability records.
Work collaboratively to achieve production and quality goals.
Follow all safety, quality, and security procedures.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in electrical assembly, HVAC systems, control panel wiring, commercial or residential electrical installation, or related electrical/mechanical trades preferred.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and engineering documentation.
Experience with electrical cabling, wire routing, crimping, and termination techniques.
Experience using hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and testing equipment.
Basic computer skills and ability to navigate manufacturing software systems.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations using whole numbers, fractions, decimals, and measurements.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment.
Must possess strong mechanical aptitude and mathematical aptitude.
Must successfully pass Mechanical Aptitude and Mathematical Aptitude Assessments as part of the hiring process.

Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks for 10 to 12-hour shifts.
Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 40 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to safely operate mechanical lifting devices and participate in team lifts as needed.

Pay Details: $21.56 to $38.86 per hour
