Experienced Fitter
Day Shift | Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

What You'll Do- Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, schematics, and project specifications.
- Measure, layout, fit, and assemble metal components to precise tolerances.
- Perform light MIG welding to secure and assemble custom fabrication projects.
- Use tape measures and precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and quality.
- Work closely with welders and fabricators to complete custom-built assemblies.
- Inspect finished work for accuracy, alignment, and compliance with specifications.
- Maintain a safe and productive work environment while following all safety guidelines.
Previous experience as a Fitter, Structural Fitter, Fabricator, or Welder/Fitter
Ability to read and understand blueprints and fabrication drawings
Strong measuring and layout skills
Experience performing light MIG welding
Excellent attention to detail and quality
Reliable attendance and transportation
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Preferred Qualifications- Experience in a fabrication, manufacturing, or machine shop environment
- Knowledge of metalworking and fabrication processes
- Welding certifications or blueprint-reading certifications are a plus
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, TN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
