Entry​/Junior level Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Memphis, TN |
Schedule: Full-time, on-site

A well-established manufacturer serving the growing electric power industry is seeking an entry/junior level Manufacturing Engineer to join its Memphis, TN team. This role offers the opportunity to learn manufacturing systems, support production processes, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives under close supervision. Bilingual Spanish/English candidates are welcomed, though not required, and relocation assistance is available, particularly well-suited for someone currently renting who would have a lower-cost move.

• Assist in developing and maintaining standard work instructions
• Support process troubleshooting on the production floor
• Collect and analyze basic production data (scrap, cycle time, downtime)
• Participate in Lean / Six Sigma projects, often as a team member
• Help implement process improvements and cost reduction ideas
• Support tooling, fixtures, and equipment setup
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Work with operators and technicians to resolve day-to-day issues

• BSME or equivalent
• 0 to 2 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment
• Introductory Lean concepts (5S, waste reduction)
• CAD exposure (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD)
• Excel / basic data analysis
