Powerhouse Operator

Draslovka is hiring an experienced operator or the Memphis, TN site.

Minimum Qualifications

Required:

• Candidate must possess the demonstrated ability and job aptitude to perform the essential job functions of vacant position.
• High School Diploma/GED equivalent.
• Must have or be able to obtain a Boiler Operator License within 24 months.
• 3-5 years as an operator in a chemical or related Petrochemical manufacturing process or industry (or relevant experience defined by management).
• Must be willing and able to qualify in both Power Field and Power CRO positions.
• Have a high regard for personal safety and the safety of others
• Be proficient in computers to perform job tasks
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong reading comprehension and listening skills
• Strong multi-tasking, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Strong work ethic, discipline, and high attention to detail
• Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including hard hat, protective eyewear, steel-toed boots, hearing protection, Level A suit, full face respirator (no facial hair), SCBA (self-contained breathing apparatus).
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, climb stairs, reach overhead, lift up to 50lbs, and have excellent manual dexterity and visual acuity, with or without accommodations.
• Must be willing and able to complete physical examination
• Ability to work in a High Hazard environment, including adverse weather conditions, elevated spaces, confined spaces, extreme temperatures, and noisy surroundings.
• Ability to work rotating 12 hour rotating shifts, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime, as business needs require.
• A current and valid, state-issued driver's license
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Capability to learn quickly and work in a self-directed team environment.
