Website Optimization Manager

We' re partnering with a growing consumer products company in the home improvement industry to identify a Website Optimization Manager who will own and optimize the company' s direct-to-consumer Shopify experience.

Reporting directly to the VP of Marketing, this is a highly visible role focused on driving online revenue through website optimization, product merchandising, customer experience, and conversion rate optimization. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on, leveraging data to improve performance, and making a measurable impact on a growing DTC business.

• Own the day-to-day optimization and performance of multiple Shopify storefronts.
• Manage site merchandising, including product collections, category pages, product detail pages (PDPs), navigation, search, and promotional content.
• Improve conversion rates through A/B testing, heatmaps, customer journey analysis, and ongoing website enhancements.
• Execute email marketing campaigns, affiliate marketing initiatives, and onsite promotional strategies to drive revenue.
• Analyze website performance using Shopify, GA4, and other analytics tools to identify opportunities for growth.
• Partner with external agencies managing paid media and SEO while owning the onsite customer experience.
• Collaborate with product management, creative, and operations teams to support new product launches and promotional campaigns.
• Develop reporting and provide recommendations around conversion, customer behavior, merchandising performance, and overall website health.
• Identify opportunities to automate processes, improve operational efficiencies, and enhance the customer shopping experience.

• 3+ years of experience managing and optimizing Shopify or Shopify Plus websites.
• Hands-on experience with website optimization, ecommerce merchandising, and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
• Strong understanding of customer journey optimization, product merchandising, and digital merchandising best practices.
• Experience with Google Analytics (GA4), Shopify reporting, A/B testing, heat mapping tools, and ecommerce performance metrics.
• Experience with email marketing platforms such as Klaviyo or similar lifecycle marketing tools.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable business recommendations.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where you' ll wear multiple hats and have direct ownership of business results.
