Senior Pastor Brighton Baptist Church

Brighton Baptist Church, located approximately 45 minutes north of Memphis in the growing community of Brighton, Tennessee, is prayerfully seeking a new pastor. Our church averages 125–150 in Sunday morning worship and is committed to biblical teaching, gospel-centered ministry, and serving our local community. We are seeking a faithful leader who will preach the Word, equip the saints, and guide our church with wisdom, compassion, and a heart for discipleship.

The senior pastor is expected to be a servant leader modeling the call, character, and competencies of a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ. He will provide leadership to the members of Brighton Baptist Church to fulfill the Great Commission through evangelism, discipleship, ministry, fellowship, and worship.

• Leading
  • Lead and develop the staff and other leaders to equip the congregation in fulfilling the mission of Brighton Baptist Church.
  • Mentor and equip the deacon body to serve effectively as spiritual leaders and support ministry teams throughout the church.
• Ministering
  • Shepherd the congregation by using spiritual gifts to strengthen and build up the body of Christ.
  • Provide pastoral care and counsel to members of the church and the wider Brighton community.
• Communicating
  • Faithfully preach and teach the Word of God, holding to the belief that Scripture is divinely inspired, inerrant, and central to the life of the church.
  • Live as an example of Christlikeness in both speech and conduct within the church and throughout the community.
