Position Status:
Part-Time, 10 hours a week;
Salaried

• Responsible for creating, developing and implementing the Jewish activities services in consort with the Fogelman JFS Director of Social Services.
• Develop strategic partnerships and relationships with senior service providers in the community.
• Work with lay leaders and volunteers when appropriate to evaluate service delivery and plan for new and/or expanded program and services.
• Provide Jewish content and engagement opportunities to isolated seniors.
• The JAC will go to senior living facilities and to the homes of home-bound seniors to both provide content directly and, drawing on community resources, to coordinate others to do so.
• Create and actively promote a comfortable and welcoming environment where every client and participant is treated with dignity and respect, in a friendly, personalized manner.

• Knowledge of Jewish customs and values.
• Previous experience working with seniors is a plus but not required.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement new and/or expanded services.
• Dynamic and innovative with strong organizational skills and outstanding interpersonal skills relating to senior adults.
• Independent judgment, initiative and advanced administrative skills required.
