Global Program Support Specialist (Bilingual – French or Portuguese)

Remote or Memphis, TN (Hybrid; onsite preference in Memphis)
We are seeking a bilingual Global Program Support Specialist to support foundation partners across Sub‑Saharan Africa. This role serves as a key operational partner to senior regional leadership, helping strengthen fundraising effectiveness, organizational capacity, and strategic growth initiatives across international alliance members.

Key Responsibilities- Serve as a secondary point of contact for assigned international foundation partners
- Support senior regional leadership in strengthening fundraising and operational capacity
- Organize and support recurring partner calls and communications
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the team’s CRM system
- Assist in planning and executing foundation assessments
- Draft assessment reports and collaborate on strategic growth plans for leadership
- Provide language and documentation support for global initiatives
- Coordinate coaching and shadowing efforts with internal subject matter experts
- Organize logistics for international travel, workshops, and partner events
- Support internal operational processes for the global team
- Participate in workshops and global engagement activities as needed
- Fluency in French or Portuguese (written and verbal)
- 3–4 years of experience in a support, coordination, or liaison‑focused role (strong language proficiency may be considered in lieu of full experience)
- Experience supporting senior leaders or regional leadership teams
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills
- Experience maintaining CRM records and performing accurate data entry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including basic Excel
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in complex, cross‑functional environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking comfort
- Cultural awareness and experience working across global environments
- Ability to travel internationally several times per year, including occasional evenings or weekends as needed
- Exposure to fundraising, nonprofit operations, marketing, or public relations
- Experience working with international partners or global alliances
- Background in international development, nonprofit coordination, or global program support environments
