Community Consortium Coordinator

A Brief Overview Responsible for supporting, implementing, and evaluating the activities of the Early Success Coalition as relates to the Healthy Start grant, for which the Early Success Coalition acts as a Community Consortium to engage providers and community members with lived experience in guiding the work of the program. Works in partnership with Regional One (the primary grant recipient) to recruit and support Healthy Start participants in joining the ESC Core Leadership and Steering Committee, fostering a collaboration of providers and community members.

Assists in creating agendas, leading meetings, planning for program implementation, and reporting on grant activities.

What you will do

• Serves as a liaison to community participants for the Core Leadership (which acts as the "Community Consortium" for the Healthy Start program).
• Fosters relationships with Core Leadership and Steering Committee members, particularly as relates to operations of the ESC as the Healthy Start Community Consortium.
• Partners with Parent Engagement Manager, Program Director, and Regional One grant leadership in strategic planning for operations and advancement of program
• Serves as the primary Early Success Coalition point of contact for communications related to the Healthy Start grant.
• Assists with development and monitoring of quality improvement activities. Assists with reporting on program activities for reporting to stakeholders, including the Core Leadership
• Maintains contact with Core Leadership members, particularly clients with lived experience, and provides support and training to encourage full participation in the Core Leadership.
• Communicates updates and changes in community agencies and participants to work groups.
• Develops and implements a plan to support new members of the Core Leadership
• Establishes and maintains the collection and reporting of the group's activities, applicable data, and outcomes, including documentation of meetings.
• Participates in training to stay up to date on best practices in maternal and child health, community health work, parent engagement, and related fields.
• Assists with the development of new community partnerships.
• Contributes to team effort by performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Nonprofit Administration, Social Work, Child Development, Psychology, Counseling, Sociology, Public Health, or closely related field Required
• Two (2) years relevant job experience Required
• Experience with nonprofit or community program implementation Required
• Community outreach experience Preferred
• Must be proficient in Google Suite programs including Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
