Career Nation is seeking experienced Pre-op Registered Nurse (RN) for an assignment at a Surgery Center in Memphis, TN. This role offers competitive weekly pay, and the opportunity to work within a leading regional healthcare organization serving Memphis, Tennessee.
Assignments are available across several high-demand specialties. Whether you thrive in a fast-paced Emergency Department, provide focused care in Critical or Intensive Care Units, or enjoy the diversity of a Float Pool environment, there’s an opportunity that fits your expertise.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver safe, evidence-based patient care in accordance with facility and unit standards
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
- Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and support staff
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and infection control guidelines
- Support patients and families through clear communication and compassionate care
- Active Tennessee State RN License (unrestricted and in good standing)
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Pre-Op Department
- BLS certification required (ACLS, PALS, NIHSS preferred depending on unit)
- Ability to adapt to new environments and work collaboratively with facility staff
- Current immunization and health records (MMR, Varicella, TB, Flu, COVID-19, etc.)
- Location: Memphis, TN
- Schedule: 6:00 AM- 2:30 PM
- Setting: Surgery Center
- Start Dates: Rolling — immediate openings available
