American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (CVPICU) position requiring a compact or TN license and significant pediatric ICU experience.

• Position is in the Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVPICU) at a children's hospital
• Work in a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center
• Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week (19:00–07:00)
• Cares for pediatric cardiac and critically ill patients
• Floating to like units or campuses within 20 miles may be required, though rare
• Weekend shifts required as needed
• Cerner EMR system is used; experience is preferred
• Holiday coverage required; must be willing to work 2 of 3 holidays if Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's fall during assignment, or 1 of 2 if only two fall during assignment
• Former employees must have a separation of at least one year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• All time off requests must be disclosed at the time of application; changes will not be honored after offer
• BSN is preferred for this position
• Cerner EMR experience is preferred but not required
• Assignment is not open to local candidates

• Active TN or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum of 2 years PICU or pediatric CVICU nursing experience required
• At least one completed previous travel assignment required; first‑time travelers only considered with 3+ years recent peds experience
• BLS certification required
• No pending licenses accepted; must comply with NLC guidelines
• Local candidates within 100 miles are not eligible
