American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Med/Surg - Neuro Stepdown position at a Level I Trauma Center, requiring at least 2 years of experience and a minimum of one completed prior travel assignment.

• Short-term acute care hospital setting, Level I Trauma Center
• Medical Surgical / Neuro Stepdown unit
• Day shift, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 3x12-hour shifts per week
• On-call required as needed
• Weekends required as needed; weekend block scheduling may be considered
• Team nursing ratios in effect — details discussed during the manager interview
• Floating between like units and campuses within 20 miles may be required, though cross-campus floating is rare
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• 13-week contract
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of initial consideration; RTO requests submitted after an offer is made will not be honored
• Holiday coverage: if Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's fall within the assignment, candidates must be willing to work at least 2 of the 3; if only 2 fall within the assignment, at least 1 must be covered
• Former permanent employees or internal associate travelers must have been separated from the facility for at least one year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• Vaccination status must be provided

• Active RN license — TN state license or NLC Compact license required; no pending licensure accepted
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required; 3+ years preferred
• At least one completed prior travel assignment required — first-time travelers are not eligible
• Level I Trauma Center experience required
• Large hospital experience required
• ADN accepted for this position; BSN not required
• BLS certification required
• Driver's license required for consideration
