Travel LPN - LPN

American Traveler is seeking an experienced LPN for a night shift medical surgical position requiring IV certification and level I trauma experience.

Job Details

• Work in a medical surgical unit at a large hospital and level I trauma center,

• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00,

• Patient ratio is typically 1:7, with team nursing support from PCC and RNs,

• Float to like units may be required, but floating between campuses is rare,

• On-call and weekend coverage required as needed,

• Must be willing to work assigned holidays if they fall during contract,

Job Requirements

• Current LPN license in compliance with NLC guidelines; license required if applicable,

• IV certification is a firm requirement,

• Minimum 2 years recent medical surgical experience; 3+ years preferred,

• Level I trauma experience required,

• Prior travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted unless with 3+ years recent experience,

• Experience in large hospital settings required,

• Cerner EMR experience preferred,

• ADN required for this position,

• Candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility location; local candidates not accepted,

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include comprehensive LPN duties on a medical surgical floor within a level I trauma environment,

• Team nursing model with support staff available,

• Must provide all requested time off (RTO) at the time of application; changes after offer will not be accepted,

• Returning employees must have at least a one-year gap since last employment to be eligible,

• Candidates may be required to work 2 of 3 major holidays if they fall during assignment,
