About the Position

Perform comprehensive assessments of wounds, pressure ulcers, ostomies, and skin conditions.

Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.

Provide education to patients, families, and staff on wound care management and prevention.

Apply advanced wound dressings, negative pressure wound therapy, and other specialty treatments.

Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals on care planning.

Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory standards.

Ensure infection control practices and patient safety protocols are followed.

Requirements

Minimum  2 years of recent wound care RN experience  (no first-time travelers unless 3+ years in specialty).

Active RN license  in compact state per NLC guidelines –  no pending licenses accepted.

Must be in compliance with  NLC multistate licensing requirements.

Willing to participate in  on-call and weekend coverage  as needed.

WOCN certification  highly preferred.
