Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical​/Tele

Job Description

Job Summary:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients in a Level I Trauma Center. Ensure patient safety, deliver quality care, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet the needs of complex medical cases.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and protocols
• Monitor patient conditions, document findings, and communicate changes to healthcare team
• Perform patient assessments and update care plans accordingly
• Assist in procedures, including patient transports and specimen collections
• Educate patients and families about post-discharge care and health management

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license in the state or a valid compact license
• Possess a minimum of 2 years recent experience in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing
• Demonstrate experience in a Level I Trauma Center or large hospital environment
• Be proficient with Cerner EHR systems (preferred)
• Be willing to work 12-hour day shifts and participate in holiday rotations
